In addition to the music, stalls, food, hot tubs and bars we have organised a program of activities taking place at the event. You can sign up for these activities in advance.
Many of the activities are free to enter, some have a small charge.

If you don't book in advance please ask at the reception desk in the entrance marquee when you arrive and we will fix you up where there is space.
Some of these activities may well fill and advance booking is recommended.
SHOW & SHINE : SUNDAY
We would love to see your VW in the show on Sunday, as so would everybody else. It's just for fun and doesn't cost anything extra to enter. You get to park up in the main event arena for the day, meet some new fellow dubbers and perhaps even win a small prize.
Category winners will be able to take part in a parade through the events
and be presented with prizes by the 'pub'.

DODGEBALL & FUN SPORTS : SATURDAY
Remember the 5 D's of dodgeball: dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge ...
this is a great game for all to play - we will be playing mixed teams of 5
at 4.30pm and we will need the audience to help catch the balls!
We will also be running:
a kids fun five a side competition, 1pm-2.30pm
a tug of war (teams of 6), 3.30pm
hard core our version of tough mudder, called the 'cider mile'.
So get the family, your camping mates, your club mates,
in fact get anyone together for some fun.

RIVER ACTIVITY : SATURDAY & SUNDAY
We are blessed with being able to organise our event on the banks of the beautiful River Stour. Feel free to take advantage of this and dip you toes in the water. You can bring your own paddle board, kayak or just roll your trousers up and dip your feet in. You do this at your own risk, check the state of the river and ensure you have someone on the bank keeping an eye on you, the river can be fast flowing.
Rent a kayak or a paddle board from our partner Hobie. They will be set up by the river bank with a great range of products to rent, try and even buy. Their experts will be on hand to advise and show you how to master them
VINTAGE CYCLE RIDE : SATURDAY
The 4th Annual Vintage Cycle Ride will be a highlight of Vdub at the Pub. It forms the centre piece of 'Dorset Goes Vintage' our Saturday daytime theme.
The ride is marshalled, gentle, fancy dress and great fun. You will set off from the main arena of Vdub at the Pub, lead by our chief marshal Jason in hail of bell ringing and horn honking. Over Julian's Bridge and off into the back lanes of Dorset. Stop for a break half way, take some group photos and head back.

BICYCLE SHOW & SHINE
Dust off your Pedersen's, buff up your Bianchi's and show them off
on Saturday, 27th June from 11 am

Once back at the festival the Vintage Tent will be set up for your
reception cream teas and bar

VINTAGE HAIR & MAKEUP : SATURDAY
Pearl's Pin up Parlour
will be at the event so ladies can book a hair and/or makeup fixed before the ride
Turn yourself into a 40s wartime sweetheart with iconic victory rolls, a 50s pinup with bumper bangs or a 60s mod with a half beehive!
Add cat-eye liner flicks and lippy for the perfect pout.
Go all out with fabulous lashes for the finishing touch
Please book an appointment below, we have limited places available between 10am and 1pm, to get your hair done before the Vintage Cycle Ride.
Great prices: Hair £10 and makeup is a £10 extra. All done a professional hair and make up specialist from Pearls Pinup Parlour.
DAILY RUNNERS SHOW : SATURDAY
Daily Runners will take place in the vintage arena on Saturday from 8am. It's a relaxed none competitive place to show your pride and joy and is addition to the the show and shine competition which is on Sunday. So don't leave your dub in the car park, bring it into the show.
For those of you visiting in your pre-1990 VW, we will have a dedicated space in the arena where you can bring your classic right into the atmosphere.
Alongside this, Vintage Saturday hosts the Wimborne Vintage Cycle Ride, Vintage Market and retro music from the Vintage Stage.
If you wish you enter Show & Shine on Sunday, you are welcome to leave your vehicle in the arena overnight, however please contact a member of staff to let us know.
THE BARN DANCE : SATURDAY
After the Vintage Cycle Riders have returned from their ride we will be throwing a Barn Dance in the Vintage Tent, probably around 3.30pm.
The Barn Dance lead the dance from the Vintage Stage with a caller.
You are all expected to take part and you will be shown the moves.
Come have some fun, meet some new faces and don't worry about not knowing what to do - that's the whole point we will show you! You don't need to sign up, just turn up in the Vintage Tent.
