CREATIVE KIDS : SATURDAY & SUNDAY (just turn up)
Join us for a super fun, creative and educational weekend of Natural Crafting Workshops. Using Dorset grown, freshly harvested 4ft & 6ft Buff Willow rods our Willow Artists will show you how to bend, weave, sculpt and bind willow into the shape of a giant fish that you will decorate and hang on a self-woven rod. Our unique Make & Takes are a real spectacle; children light up when they see their creations come to life and go on to play with their 'caught fishies' all weekend, waving them at bands and staking them at camp to mark their new home. Our Willow is sourced locally from Dorset Willow Farmers. The materials we use are biodegradable. The Willow Lantern itself will last several years outdoors and will biodegrade naturally over time.
We will also be offering Free Family Workshops Make & Take Air Dry Coloured Clay Creations - great for children with SEN.
Learn to play the Ukulele! We provide the instruments; all you have to do is turn up!
Circus Arena - poi, walking stilts, juggling, hoops and more! - Equipment is for children up to age 12 only.
We are open Saturday from 10 am - 5 pm and Sunday from 10 am - 3 pm. No booking is required.
Our activities encourage parents / carers to work with their children on the builds and enjoy family time making art together, rather than children being dropped off. Please do not bring alcohol into the Kids Zone, thank you.
Creative Kids is an Arts Education Charity offering affordable, accessible arts activities that help children and young people aged 6 + grow in confidence as budding artists because every child deserves the opportunity to shine. We offer a national qualification in the arts. Online donations gratefully received. Charity buckets will be on site for cash donations on the day. Every penny goes towards helping local children in need access free activities in the school holidays and receive a healthy breakfast and hot lunch to help fight holiday hunger.

Hidden in a little corner of Vdub at the Pub is a very special place of fire and smoke.
