What's On at the Event?There's lots on at the event for all ages to enjoy. We have live music taking place all weekend across 2 stages and plenty of activities to get involved in, including river activities, funfair rides and over 60 stalls. Highlights for Saturday include the Wimborne Vintage Cycle Ride and fun Team Sports hosted by SB Fitness. Our VW & Porsche Show & Shine competition takes place on Sunday. Little dubbers can enjoy activities hosted by Creative kids rides on our miniature Steam engine and rides on the big wheel and Dodgems! See you there!

Where is the event and how do I get there?The event is held in the meadows adjacent to Julian’s Bridge, Julians Road (B3078), Wimborne, Dorset. Am I allowed to bring alcohol to the event?We have a great bar with a wide selection of drinks at affordable prices! If you are bringing alcohol wit you to the event please note that alcohol will not be allowed to be brought into the arena. If you are camping, you may bring alcohol for your own personal consumption to enjoy in the campsite.

Am I allowed to bring my dog to the event?You are welcome to bring your pooch to the event under the following conditions:- 1. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times - no excuses, the event is held on agricultural ground with livestock nearby. 2. Clean up after your canine companion and dispose of waste appropriately in the bins provided. 3. Dogs are not allowed in the marquees where the bars and music are located, they are loud, busy environments and not suitable for dogs. Any owners not sticking to these rules will be asked to leave to the event.

My child is under 18, can they visit your event on their own?Under 18s must be accompanied by a paying adult.

What's on at the event for kids?Vdub is a great event for families and kids and there's plenty to enjoy. Creative kids host a number of activities and crafts so make sure you visit them at their stand. We also have rides on the miniature steam train; facepainter; a funfair complete with a big wheel, dodgems and hook-a-duck; and river activities hosted by Hobie centre. Don't forget that on Saturday we host a fun sports tournament hosted by SB Fitness - kids can sign up to take part in 5-a-side dodgeball and football! More details on activities and info here.

What time does the music start and what sort of music do you have at the event?Music starts on Friday at 5pm, where our resident DJs will be spinning some vinyl until late. On Saturday and Sunday we have a cracking line-up of bands, performers and DJs with performance across 2 stages: the main 'PUB' stage and the 'Vintage/Acoustic/Dance' stage. Do you have first aiders at the event?Yes, we do. Waterside Emergency Medical Services LTD provide our first aid support. Two advanced responders and an ambulance first aid point will be located in the arena.

What happens if my child is lost at the event?We have a lost child point at the Box office/Shop. If your child is lost at the event, they should make their way there in the first instance or they can find a member of staff/security to assist them. Parents sometimes find it helpful to write their name and contact number on their child's wristband so that they can be called if they become separated from their child - we think that this is a great tip!

Do you have any Vdub At The Pub merch for sale?Yes we do! Come and see us at the Vdub shop (next to the entrance/box office) where we stock a range of hoodies, tshirts, hats, bottles and more. It's also where you'll find the infamous 'Vdub Sticker' (all sticker proceeds go to supporting our Charity, The Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance - so when you're buying a great-looking sticker, you're also supporting local causes!) The best place to purchase merch is at the show as we can't guarantee that stock will be available after the event, but if it is you'll find it here.

When does the campsite open and when do I need to leave?The campsite opens at 1pm on Friday and you can stay until Monday at 10am at the latest.

Are BBQs / Fire pits allowed in the campsite?Fire pits, bonfires, chinese lanterns and open flames are not allowed under any circumstances. If you wish to cook on BBQs, they must be raised off the ground and be of sound structure. Gas BBQs / stoves are preferred where possible.

Do you do camping tickets for 1 or 2 nights only?Camping tickets are fixed price regardless if you stay 1 night or the whole duration, you are welcome to arrive and leave within the opening and closing times of the event.

Am I allowed to bring alcohol to the event?You are allowed to bring alcohol into the campsite for your own personal consumption however no alcohol will be allowed to be brought into the arena.

What facilities do you have for disabled visitors?We have accessible toilets in the campsite. We also have showers available however these are accessible by a couple of steps so may not suitable for those with mobility issues and in which case may require additional assistance to operate.

Do you have family / quiet camping areas?Please speak to a member of the campsite team when you arrive and we will try our best to place you in a quieter area/zone. Security will monitor noise levels when the event has closed for the evening and will aim to limit disruption where possible.

Do you have a glamping option at the event?You bet we do! Camp in style in a pre-erected bell tent, ready upon your arrival. We have the 'VDUB' option for 4 or 6 or the 'LUX' option for 2 to choose from. The 'VDUB' option includes an inflatable double and two single beds, half coir matting, lighting and a named sign. The 'LUX' option includes: metal bed, duvet, pillows, covers & sheets, bedside table, storage box, coir matting, lighting and named sign. Remember: you also need to purchase weekend camping tickets for the show in addition.

Do you have electric in the campsite?The event is held on an agricultural field therefore we regret that no electric hook up is available.

Can I use an awning?You can use an awning as long as you and or your friends fit everything within a 6m x 6m pitch.

Am I allowed to bring a caravan/campervan or motorhome?Yes, however please note that if your vehicle s over 5.5m long, you will need to purchase an 'Oversize Pitch Fee' ticket as your vehicle is unlikely to fit within the 6m pitch allocation.

How much are tickets?Camping Tickets In advance Adult camping tickets are £70 per person 12-17 year old tickets are £30 per person Under 12 tickets are £1. On the gate Adult camping tickets are £80 per person 12-17 year old tickets are £35 per person Under 12 tickets are £1. Day Tickets Friday day ticket prices: Adults (18+): £6 12-17yr olds: £4 U12s: £1 Saturday day ticket prices Adults (18+): £14 12-17yr olds: £8 U12s: £1 Sunday day ticket prices Adults (18+): £10 12-17yr olds: £6 U12s: £1 Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult over 18 years old.

Where can I buy tickets?The quickest and easiest way is to pay for your tickets on advance on our website here. However we will also have tickets available on the gate. The only official place to purchase tickets is on our website, if you choose to purchase resale tickets from a private seller you do so at your own risk. Beware ticket resale social media scams (if it sounds too good to be true, then it usually is).

Help! I've lost my tickets.Don't panic! If you can't find your e-tickets, firstly try looking in your spam/junk folder. Note, if you've paid through PayPal, your tickets will be sent to the e-mail address that you have registered with PayPal. If you still can't find your tickets, simply speak to a member of the staff at the Box office when you arrive and we will locate your tickets on our booking system.

Unfortunately I can't make it to the event, can I get a refund?We're sorry to hear that you won't be joining us for the event, Unfortunately we don't offer refunds if you can't make the event, but we can roll your ticket over to next year's event. Drop us an e-mail with your name and order reference number with the title 'Roll over ticket request' and we'll do the rest. Please note that we won't be able to complete your roll over ticket request until after the event has finished.

Do you offer an OAP/Armed Forces/NHS discount?Regrettably, we are not able to offer a discount for OAPs, Armed Forces Personnel/NHS staff.

I can't open my E-ticket, can you help?The E-ticket contains two attachments - one to open with your smartphone and a printable PDF version. If you're struggling to open your ticket on your computer/laptop, you might be trying to open the mobile ticket which can only be opened with a smartphone.

What facilities do you have for disabled visitors?We have reserved parking close to the entrance gate and disabled toilets to support those with mobility issues. Please note that if you are camping, the showers are accessible by a couple of steps therefore additional support may be needed for access.

Do you take Cash / Card?We accept cards however the network has been known to glitch so we would advise you to have some cash too. You can get cash from ATM machines a short walk away in the town centre.

What is your policy on sustainability?At Vdub At The Pub, we care about doing everything we can do support sustainability and the environment. Some of the things we do include (but are not limited to): Providing recycling points in the campsite and the arena Selling reusable cups at our bars Encouraging hot food outlets and traders to use disposable and sustainable packaging Using paper bags in our shop Supporting, sourcing and purchasing from local businesses (where possible) Limited the amount of single use plastics and packaging that we use at the event

I have a complaint, who do I contact?We're sorry to hear that your experience falls below our high standards. Please drop us a message with your name, e-mail address and phone number to info@vdubatthepub.com. We will aim to acknowledge your complaint and respond within 7 days although during busy periods, it may take slightly longer.

How do you manage Health & Safety at the event?The Health and Safety of staff, contractors and the public is of utmost priority. We have a Health & safety Policy in our Event Management Plan which we regularly review and update where required. It covers things like Fire Safety, First Aid, Security and much more.
